Isaiah 52:7 How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, and says to Zion, "Your God reigns!" Evangelism the core of any true ministryThis is the purpose for all we do. All efforts, in prayer, teaching, preaching, helps, giving, or any other pert of the Church is in some way is connected to soul winning. All of us are to live lives that are testimonies of the power of Christ, this will lead many to the Lord. Some are called to go to the highways or streets, some are called to do revival services, while others might do crusades. The largest part of evangelism is done on a personal one to one or friendship basis. If all the body would work together in soul winning we would function more like the Church is suppose to. 90% of the Church has never led any one to Christ. I believe this is a twisted statistic for how many of those people gave money to send someone to the mission field? Maybe some Lady prayed for an Evangelist while doing a crusade! Charles Finney had a prayer partner that only heard Charles preach twice, because he was on his face praying! My point is not to discourage you from soul winning, I’m trying to show you how the Kingdom works. We all do our FULL PART and God gets the Glory. The world comes to Christ. |
